Frostbite Review (Book 2 of Vampire Academy series) *spoilers*

Spoilers!

Ok so I just finished reading Frostbite last night and it was soooo good. I wouldn't necessarily say it was amazing but definitely a great addition to Vampire Academy.  This book caught my attention from Chapter one and held it till the very last word. It was so nice to get to see Lissa spend some quality time with Christian and to watch them get closer and closer. All the while watching Rose struggle with her feelings for Dimitri. Rose both wanted to keep Dimitri away and to hold him close, causing inner conflict expressed throughout the novel. And when a new woman comes into Dimirti's life, Rose is forced to sit by and watch as her love spends his days with her, speaking in casual tones and having playful banter. As the story develops you see as Mason-Rose's best friend-  shows his feelings for Rose at their true strength. Rose begins a relationship with Mason that is soon seen to be nothing but a cover for her feelings towards Dimitri. When Rose and Dimitri leave the school for an important test they come across a horrific scene, leading to life altering news that will forever change the world they live in. And when Rose's mother comes to town Rose is faced with the shadows that she has lived in her entire life. When the school leaves for winter break and heads to a ski resort, things become stranger as they go. Then when a notorious royal becomes interested in Rose and Lissa, Dimitri tries to stop it without revealing his feelings for Rose. And in the rising action of the story hearts race as you see Rose and Mason get into a fight and in turn, Mason make a potentially deadly mistake. When Rose discovers Mason has left the resort on a mission to kill Strigoi-along with Eddie and Mia- Rose enlist the help of Christian to save them from the worst of fates. Then when the group is captured by humans, their worst fears are realized, humans are working with Strigoi. When captured and unconscious Rose finds that Lissa is not the only one who uses spirit. After countless days and hours of torture, giving the group no sustenance, and having to watch as Eddie is drank from every day, Rose has a plan. Giving a signal to Christian the group manages to break free and tie up the humans. And when Rose and Mason go to scout they come face to face with the real threat, Strigoi. The novel takes a heart wrenching turn and in the end leads to a powerful and open ending.

Overall Frostbite receives no criticism and can be said to be a 'forget your kids' sort of novel.

So I know that was realllllllly formal like but I wanted to try it out, please, let me know what you think. Either good or bad I don't care just give me some feedback.
