FINALLY

Okay so guess what I am on right this very second.... thats right.... NOT my moms computer, I am on my computer. And if you remember my last post that is awesome because the stupid person I am forgot my password again.... buuuuutttt me just trying out a bunch of random combinations of all the passwords I've ever had in my life it magically logged me in. I'm so happy I feel like I just made Simon Cowell smile...

Try and tell me that that ^^^^ wouldn't make you happy... Yeah. You can't.

Yeah so I'm good to post anytime I want to now that I have my computer logged in and so that means I'll probably be posting more often. Cool soooo bye

Sometimes Blogger makes me mad

Ok so today is my 16th birthday and for my birthday my mom got me a new-totally awesome- macbook. So I'm all excited to have my own computer and to be able to have it whenever I need but of course... I go to sign in to my google plus account and once again.... I have forgotten my password.
You can imagine my frustrations with myself seeing as this has already happened before.

And so with this development I tried to get another recovery e-mail sent to reset my password, only when it asked me my 'security questions' it told me the information DIDN'T MATCH UP. So of course I'm like "OH COME ON..."

So now until I can figure out a way to get my password back I have to ask my mom to borrow her computer-when she just got me my own- (yeah I'm not gonna seem ungrateful or anything) to use anything on my google account. But you know what

I give up for tonight. I only have 15 minutes left of my birthday and I am not about to spend it fighting with google to get into my OWN GOOGLE ACCOUNT.

Well my night is over so I'm just going to go to sleep now. I'll try again tomorrow.v

Going To the Beach

Hey guys so I'm leaving for the beach at 3:30 this afternoon and will be there until early on the 23rd. So even though I will have wifi at my AWESOME hotel I probably won't be posting anything until I get back. But on the bright side when I get back I will have plenty to talk about seeing as the day I get back is my 16th birthday party. If you can call it a party. lol. I'm having some friends over to chill by the pool then when the sun goes down I am having this bonfire and we are roasting s'mores. Yay! Yeah so between party talk and the beach I'll probably have at least three posts. I am expecting to get books from my family/friends-my sister has gone to B&N like twice this week- and therefore I'll have plenty to rant/review. Yeah so have a great weekend guys! Don't get into too much trouble. Crap.... I need to pack. (Here is a link to a video that I love because it is like 100% me)

My trip to Virginia- Part 2

Ok so next on my trip to Virginia was day four of basketball camp.

We didn't do much that day, other than shopping and we went to see a movie. I decided to go see How to Train Your Dragon 2... vs watching Maleficant again. Nothing against Maleficant... I had already seen it twice and I didn't want to spend another $10. But can I just say how obsessed I am with HTYD? Seriously.... I have posters on my wall...... I cried when you know what happened to you know who.... (NO not Voldemort) I walked out of there completely unable to accept everything like

Then it was day five of basket ball camp, it was also the LAST day of that god awful hour drive into downtown at 8 am every morning. But anyways, we spent the day downtown just chilling. We went ot the state library, we went to a library that had you know.... actual books you can read. We spent a lot of time just at the kids reading playtime thing because Emery LOVED IT! She sang this one song from a book for the rest of the day. That book would be Pete the Cat btw;

Than after our little excursion to the library's we had to pick his royal pain in the butt up from camp. His team won this big tournament and he was all excited.

Obviously that wasn't his whole team but you get the gist. Anyways after we got him we went for a walk along this canal and it was soooo beautiful!

And after we finished the canal walk we went to get some pizza at this cool restaurant rite next to some train tracks.... the pizza was bigger than my head....

So after the loooong week of basketball camp we took a day to just sit at home and clean. We packed whatever we could, did some laundry, swept, cleared out the fridge, stuff like that.

On the last day before we came home we went back to the james river, this time with Pat, and we were there alllll day, we even brought a grill and heated up some food. Also we painted rocks from the river that we had brought home and bleached a few days earlier.

Then after a long day of cleaning and gathering everything up the next day.... we set off for the airport. (yes we drove up but my aunt was going back so she left her car and we all flew back and she just flew back up and now has her car again) We waved bye to virginia and prepared to go back home to our wonderful florida summer rain and heat.

So yeah that was my trip to Virginia.

Short Reviews

Hey guys, so since I have read so many books lately and was un able to post their reviews I'm just going to go ahead and do them all at once together and not make them as long as I usually would.

Deep Blue by Jennifer Donnelly (Waterfire saga #1);

Deep blue is a one sit read most definitely! With its court lifestyle and interesting lingo you are transported to a magnificent world completely different form our own. Deep Blue is filled with mystery,  beauty, tragedy, love, action, and so much more. With this mer-tastic story you not only get to live the childhood dream of being a graceful mermaid but also the dream of being a princess. In this sensational read you get everything you could want and more. Leaving you with an un deniable craving for more, Deep Blue is a must read!

Marked by P.C and Kristen Cast (House of Night #1);

Marked is breathtaking with its entirely new take on vampires. As we read about how Zoey's entire life is uprooted  we fall in love with the many personalities she meets, as there are plenty of characters in this novel. The world that you are cast into when you read Marked is filled with romance, deception, magic, plenty of awkward moments, and lets not forget change. One might think that with so much going on in this novel you might get confused, yet the brilliant Cast duo manages to ease from one twist to the next as if reciting their ABC's. Thoroughly entertaining and leaving you eager for more Marked is just the first in this unstoppable series.

Betrayed by P.C and Kristen Cast (House of Night #2);

In this epic sequel to Marked, Zoey takes on twist after twist in her new life at the House Of Night. Betrayed is chock full of surprises as you start to unravel some truth and uncover more of the mystery left from the first book. As you continue to read on in this story you are met with many different unexpected events. I would like to say that this is story eased on as much as the first, but sadly it was lacking. With a plot with such amazing potential I can't help but feel that the authors let their readers down with their constant recap of the first novel. Nonetheless, Betrayed is still an incredible read that will leave you wanting more.

Chosen by P.C and Kristen Cast (House of Night #3);

Chosen is the third book in the House of Night series, and it definitely makes up for the previous lacking novel, Betrayed. After finding out the shocking turn of events in Betrayed, Zoey is lead to an overwhelming amount of bewilderment. Besides a number of other confusing and stressing developments Zoey is caught in the middle of three different sizzling relationships. One with her previous boyfriend Heath, who is completely swoon worthy, and also happens to have imprinted on her. One with her current boyfriend Erik, who is hypnotizing in his own way. And one with a sort-of teacher, Loren Blake, who turns out to not be who she thought he was. Chosen is an 'E-MAIL IN ALL CAPS, SCREAM AT YOUR FRIENDS, THROW THE BOOK ACROSS THE ROOM,' amazing read.

The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold;

The Lovely Bones is not exactly the book for everyone. With its different and somewhat horrifying plot  you may find yourself cringing more often than smiling. The Lovely Bones is a gripping tale about a fourteen year old girl who is raped and then murdered, throughout the novel you read through her perspective as she looks down from heaven and watches her family try to move on with their lives. Many tears will be shed for the mother who lost a daughter, anger with be felt along side the father who can't catch her killer, your heart will break as you watch as her four-year-old brother tries to make since of it all, and sympathy will be given to the sister who has to live now as the oldest and the only daughter left. This novel leaves you with a jumble of mixed emotions, as it lead you through the many years following the tragic murder. You get to see her brother grow up, not only having lost a sister but later a mother, her father struggle to raise two children on his own, and to watch her sister live the life that she had dreamed for herself. The Lovely Bones may be an strange context but once the words start flowing you are mesmerized by the many lives that can be changed by one little girl and how she never came home.

I hope your enjoyed this late reviews and that you take my advice and read EVERY SINGLE one of these books.

My trip to Virginia! (part 1)

Hey guys so as promised here is the post about my AWESOME vacation to Virginia!

Okay so to start off it took us

Granted we stopped and slept-so take off the 10 hours for that- and say it took us about two hours from all the stopping to eat and get gas, and another two hours when we went to the mall.... so I guess it really only took us around 18 hours total just in driving. Still though.... 18 hours in a car with a grumpy teenage boy and a hyper 5 y/o..... lets just say the plane ride back was amazing.

Okay so the drive wasn't god awful.... well not for me at least. Patrick and me decided that when he was driving I would ride in the back (not that I had the choice since I would have to be 21 to sit in the passenger seat while he is driving) and when he isn't driving I would get the front seat. Oh... did I mention Patrick HATES DRIVING. lol so basically this is what happened to him the whole 18 hours

Yeah so once the drive was over things really got going good!

The first night we decided that we wanted to keep things calm so Pat, Trish, and Em(the 5 y/o) decided to go fishing....

 I on the other hand had a book or three to read. So I just sat in my nice comfy bedroom reading..... until Em decided to come into the room and throw fake bugs at me (She didn't know that I knew they were fake so she was pretending they were real)

Ok then the next day the fun stuff started.... Patrick had to be at basketball camp at 9 so of course-being that we lived so far from Downtown Richmond-we had to be up at 7 (every. stinking. morning.) But that is fine because that meant that me and my favorite aunt and my little girl could go do whatever girly or 'boring' thing Patrick didn't want to do until we had to pick his butt up at 5. So on the first day of camp we decided to go to the zoo. Now let me make a note of this.... I have never been to a zoo before this trip so..... I was a little bit excited.... I mean.... I GOT TO FEED A BABY GIRAFFE!

Also they had this really awesome sky ride thing that took you right over the animals

Then once we left the zoo we hit up a couple good wills-they are life and love- and after we got Patrick we picked up something to eat... I can't really remember what we got that specific day.

Day two of basket ball camp and the girls decided to go to Pony Pasture at the James Rivver. IT WAS SOOOO PRETTY!

We found this huge tree that had fallen into the water... naturally I climbed it...

We also found the PERFECT place for us to spend out day. It was out own set of three rocks that formed a shallow pool for the little ones-a.k.a Em- and we had an awesome picnic.

I got suuuuupppppeeeerrrr sunburned after everything that day.

Which included meeting Tod and his dog Jack.

Then we made my boyfriend super jealous... we went. To the. EDGAR. ALLEN. POE. MUSEUM.

IT WAS SO COOL!!!! Except when I found a 'real live skeleton'

Ok so Day three  of Basketball camp. The girls go to the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, and it is so pretty. We go every summer but it never fails to make me say 'wow'.

They have this butterfly exhibit where you can walk with real butterflies... always super fun! And pretty!

The garden is soooo cool! They laid out a bunch of hoo-la-hoops and chalk for the kids and then had blankets, pillows under the shade of the trees, with books on them, and they were just open to anyone! So I sat down and read a couple different books to Em.

Ok since my trip is way longer than I thought I'm just going to go ahead and break it up into a couple different posts. So this will be part one and then I'll post more later today if not tomorrow.

That awesome moment when...

So you guys know that awesome moment when...

OMG PEOPLE I AM FREAKING OUT! I JUST DISCOVERED THAT THE SERIES THAT I HAVE RECENTLY FALLEN IN LOVE WITH(House of Night by P.C and Kristen Cast) HAS 12 BOOKS! CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT? ITS LIKE FINDING OUT YOUR FAVORITE CHILDHOOD SHOW WICH HAS LONG BEEN OFF THE AIR HAS RETURNED... WITH NEW EPISODES! I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS!

Alright so I know what you're thinking...

But how do you expect me to calm down when I have just discovered that I have new reading material that will last me at least a month! And it's all from the same series!

Okay and on the topic of awesome moments.... I'M SO EXCITED FOR OPPOSITION TO COME OUT!!!!! YAYYYYYY JENNIFER L. ARMENTROUT IS COMING BACK WITH MY FAVORITES! I HAVE MISSED KATY, DAEMON, DAWSON, BETH, LUKE, AND DEE! THEY ARE TOO PERFECT AND MY LIFE ISN'T COMPLETE WITH THEIR LONG EXTENDED ABSENCE.

I am very sorry but you have no idea about my obsession with all things Daemon Black.... HONEST TO GOD if he came up to me and was like

Ok fist off I would be like...

Then I would totally be like... "WHAT? RED? OMG RED IS MY FAVORITE COLOR TOO! LIKE SERIOUSLY EVERYTHING I OWN IS RED. HELL EVEN MY OWN BODY IS FILLED WITH RED. OH YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME HERE SEE FOR YOURSELF."

Then you know... I would die... but um thats okay because it wouldn't be from that ^^^ it would be from the aneurism occurring in my brain from the fact that DAEMON BLACK IS TALKING TO ME.

Ok so this post has officialy gotten to a strange level so I'm just gonna go now.

I'M BACK!

HEY!!!!! I'M BACK! Well actually I've been back since the 30th buuuutttt my new apartment that I came home to didn't have wifi or cable. I know what you're thinking...  "HOW CAN YOU SURVIVE WITHOUT WIFI." Well..... I almost didn't. But now we have cable and wifi back so yayyyyy!!!!! Anyways I had a great vacation and a great fourth of july. Yeah so basically a lot has happened lately, I  have read 5 books; Deep Blue, The blind side, Marked, Betrayed, and Chosen. Also my birthday is in two weeks soooo yeah! So on the birthday subject I have great plans for the big 16! First off I should say my birthday is on the 24th so I have kind of a lot planned for that one day. The first plan is that my best friend and I are going to the beach for four wonderful sun filled days! We will be staying at a hotel within walking distance too the beach and will be sitting watching the sunset everyday, its going to be awesome. Then a couple days after the beach my bestfriend and I are going to Universal and IOA (her first time since Harry Potter opened), then she is spending the night and the next day I'm having a bonfire party. And on my birthday I may be going out to dinner with my Mom, Sister Sharity and maybe if my mom decides to be awesome my amazing boyfriend (It just so happens to also be our four month anniversary). So yeah I'm going to do two more post over the next couple of days, one will be a vacation post, and one will be a big book review.

Yeah so I'm back... bye for now :)
