I'm Back/New Books/ Christmas Carol

Hey! So I'm back! I am really excited because I took my last valencia final yesterday so now my first semester in college is over and I only have one more week of high school left before Winter Break. 

So Lately I have read two books- both first in series. The first book I finished was the Maze Runner. Yes I am aware that I am way late on the Maze Runner train, but you see what happened was last year I started reading Maze Runner and then I lost the book and was like "welp guess it wasn't meant to be", than recently I decided to finish it and checked it out from the library. Well I finished the book and I really liked it so I'm on a waiting list to get the second one, YAY! The OTHERRRRR book I read was "Shattered Souls" By: Mary Lindsey. I have to say, I didn't actually know what the book was about when I checked it out, I ran my hand down the fiction isle and counted to thirty than read whatever book is landed on. Well to say the least I was VERY HAPPILY surprised by this book. I am waiting on the Second book in this series as well as Maze Runner. Anyways I was just really happy with these two books and look forwards to finishing reading their series. 

Ok so next I want to talk about the fact that my high school theater class has been working on doing A Christmas Carol! Yay! Ok so before we started the process of rehearsal we watched the muppet movie version-make a note before this I had never seen any version of a christmas carol. After we finished watching the movie the next day we got told who we were all playing, I was extremely lucky to be casted as the Narrator. I love my role because I get to speak directly to the audience be completely omniscient. We are preforming on this upcoming Monday for our principal and then I'm not sure when else. In one scene we have to a dance called the Virginia Reel. (.......) The Virginia Reel is one of the most tiring dances I have ever learned/performed. I ask you to imagine this with a total of 32 people instead of some 10 in this video, and also make it about twice as fast, and add an extra 2 minutes. 

Any how, I hope everyone has been well lately and I apologize for my being absent. Hopefully now that winter break is coming up I will have more time to post! 

Yay for books (Minor Spoilers for TMI, and Lux)

Hey guys so I just recently finished the book suggestion from my friend Andrew (The Red Pyramid). 

The book was thoroughly  entertaining and I was surprised to read at the very end that the story was actually based on on true events/ real beliefs. I enjoyed this tale because it really reminded me of the books that I was reading when I fell in love with the lifestyle. The use of actual hieroglyphs, Egyptian Gods/religion, and actual people was interesting because it really opened up the mind to a new world. 

So after I finished reading the Red Pyramid, I jumped right into reading the Sixth and final book of the Mortal Instruments series- City of Heavenly Fire- and I'm about half way through. I really like it so far, the introduction with Emma and the attack was really gripping and I actually found myself upset that we didn't get to read more about what happened after the portal. As you know I love TMI and I am obviously sad to see the series come to an end, but alas, all good things must come to an end eventually. I can't wait to read more and honestly I'm over here like

Ok so I just want to point out that I have YET to read the FINAL book in my ALL TIME FAVORITE SERIES-Lux by Jennifer L. Armentrout- 100% because I am not prepared for it to be over.  I am in LOVE with the characters and I am not ready to see them be ripped away from me, never to have another new adventure. I feel such a connection with the main character and she really is like a book version of me-apart from being part alien- and I feel like when I read this last book I'll be losing a part of my self. Overall I'm just stalling, eventual;y I will read Opposition-THAT DAY IS NOT TODAY. For now I will continue to treat the series as I see it, my love. (Ps. One day I will marry Daemon, no matter what people say)

OH MY GOD TOY STORY 4 IS GOING TO BE A THING

The Wedding!

Hey guys! So I'm not yet back in Orlando from the wedding but I am back in Kissimmee so thats good enough for me. The wedding was absolutely beautiful! Andrew and Sabrina look positively gorgeous, and the ceremony was perfect for their personality's. 

So to start off the rehearsal went swimmingly- apart from the actual physical dinner where the food was cold, took forever, bland, and overall just terrible. On a positive note, Rebecca and I looked cute!

After the rehearsal dinner the bridesmaids, the brides friend, cousin(s), and I all had fun at the bachelorette party. To say the least it was awesome. haha

The wedding went almost perfect (which seems almost impossible) and everyone looked so beautiful. 

Okay, so I'm gonna start trying to catch up on my homework! Haha Have a good rest of the week guys!

Wedding

Let me be clear as I start this post... I AM NOT GETTING MARRIED! LOL not that you would think I was. None the less I am attending a wedding this weekend. My best friend in the entire world Rebecca (hey girl) has this older brother, so basically I have this older brother, and well he has this AH-MAZING girl and she is beautiful and just awesomely awesome. Yeah well this brother and this girl are engaged! YAY! (Didn't see that coming did you?) Anyways I am so excited because the wedding is this weekend and I get to spend four long days at the beach with my best friend and I also get to attend her brothers GORGEOUS wedding. I leave saturday morning to head to Becca's house then saturday afternoon we leave for the beach. I am not 100% on the schedule after that but at some point in time we will be having the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony (obviously), the reception, and probably going out to eat on one of the other days we are there (seeing as we are there till next tuesday). I am super excited for the wedding cause I get to spend time with my bestie, see two people I love tie the knot, and wear my super cute new dresses (I got three tehehehe). Everyone is going to look so amazing and I am so excited and I just can't stop saying how excited I am!

STRESS OVERLOAD/books/writing/tv

Hey guys, I'm really sorry for how crappy I have been at posting lately. I have been under some serious stress and things are finally starting to calm down a bit. My classes have been crazy filled with HW and Sweeney Todd opened up last week. On top of everything with school I have been trying to find time to sleep, eat, and read. So basically I've been waking up, doing homework, going to valencia, going to high school, staying after school for rehearsals, then the play starts at 7, play ends at 10 ish, get home around 10:30, do some more homework, eat, read (MAYBE), sleep, repeat. So say the least I've been pretty much collapsing into bed! 

Speaking of reading! I FINALLY GOT CITY OF HEAVENLY FIRE (a.k.a the sixth and final book in the Mortal Instruments series). I found it at the library the other day when I was searching for Destined (book who-knows-anymore in the House of Night series) and BOOM! THERE IT WAS! The sad part is I was already reading another book given to me by my AMAZINGLY AWESOME BEST GUY FRIEND (lol thanks Andrew) and well its cool so I'm gonna finish it and THENNNNNN start of TMI.

Oh yeah and I got a journal for all of my book ideas or just story ideas and I have a really good one. Now now... I'M NOT SAYING ANYTHING YET! lol You will hear about this new idea once I finish the Shadow War. OH YEAH! I have been writing more for the Shadow War and its all being flowing so smoothy so I hope that I will be finished in the not too distant future. 

GOODNESS I DIDN'T REALIZE HOW MUCH YOU ALL HAVE MISSED! DID I MENTION THAT LIKE ALMOST ALL OF MY TV SHOWS ARE BACK?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! NO?!? HOW?!? LOL ok well.... THEY'RE ALL BACK. 

OkAYYYY so to name a few- in order based on their days of the week- there is;

Oh yeah so another thing is that I have the worst luck lately (almost got hit by a car and also fell of a latter.... 3 times) plus I might be getting sick like EVERYONE ELSE IN MY SCHOOL. I also had this weird thing happen the other day where I woke up and couldn't really stand and my legs with covered with bruises (don't know how any of them got there but I mean...3 times) I basically looked like I got ran over by a truck (where was my alien when I needed him).

Update

Hey guys so here is an update on what I've been up to;

Well this last weekend I had ALOT going on! On friday I went to the Disney halloween party Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. It was so much fun! Almost my whole family went, my mom, my sister Sharity, my sister Leigh and her husband Chris, Chris's mother, brother, sister, and his sister's husband, also my aunt and two of my cousins. My sisters, brother-in-law, aunt, mom, and cousins, all dressed up.

We got to do a lot of rides and also they had trick or treating. It was crazy to ride Big Thunder Mountain, we almost took up a whole train once everyone was there! And same with Pirates of the Carribean-that we needed two boats. 

That was Friday, Now on saturday.... IT WAS HOMECOMING!

lol I went over to my friend Mandy's house around 4 and we started getting ready. Homecoming was a lot of fun! We took tons of pictures and all my friends looked FANTASTIC!

I got to spend my night with some very special people and it was amazing. (And emotional but lets not get into that)

Thennnnn after homecoming I went home and when I woke up the next day I got ready to go to the Food and Wine festival at... you guessed it... DISNEY! lol My sisters, brother-in-law, mother, and I all decided we would go eat around the world (they drank but you know... 16, so I just stuffed my face)

Yeah so the food and wine festival was fun, we rode my favorite rides and ate pot stickers from China.

Overall I hd a great weekend and I am honestly very sad that my sisters have gone back to KY (where they live and go to school)

It felt so good to write more today and I'm excited to get back to doing what I love. 

Busy Life

Hey guys, sorry for my being MIA. i have just been SO BUSY! With all of my class home work, and volunteering at the animal shelter, not to mention the play rehearsals everyday after school. I have been running around doing this and that like crazy! Anyways, I just wanted to give a little bit of a hint as to what is coming up; 

• I will be returning to writing for my book, as well as starting the process of typing up the project I have ben working on.
• I will TRY to return to my "Whats New Wednesdays" post
• Sweeney Todd the musical opens up next saturday (OMG)
• Also I will be posting a short post on what I did my past weekend tomorrow just to give a little update. 

I will hopefully be posting a little earlier tomorrow seeing as its almost 1 am..... but if I can't post in the morning I definitely will be posting later on in the afternoon.

Halloween Horror Nights

Ok so as many of you may know, I live in Orlando Fl. So yes, I do have a sea world, disney, bush gardens, universal, etc. annual pass. 

Ok so to state the obvious, its getting close to halloween (holy shiz nit where did 2014 go!?!) and that means.... HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS!!!!!

So I was SUPPOSED to be going with my best friend, up until like an hour ago when she texted me and said she couldn't make it. So our hotel reservations, her day pass, and my horror night pass would have gone to waste,  BUUUTTT lucky me! I convinced my friend Tatiana to go with me. We canceled the hotel, got the pass refunded and used the money to get me and Tati in. So yay!!! I'M GOING TO HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS ON SATURDAY!

I think the house which I am most excited about it Walking Dead because walking dead is just amazing!

The Giver/JCB

Hey guys, so due to the fact I have caught up to my friend in the series I'm reading and she is still on the next book I took a break. I decided that I would read The Giver.  I'm about twenty pages from the end. So being the person I am, I'm already analyzing the TRAILER for the movie adaptation and can I just say that from what I have seen.... SO WRONG! Anyways I won't continue on that because I can't judge the movie before I watch it but I will just say that I will most likely be posting an adaptation rant soon. Also I have found that I am OBSESSED with Jamie Campbell Bower (Jace from Mortal Instruments, also a bunch more but that he is KNOWN for). Its become a bit of a problem actually. I have found that I can't get anything done because I am watching his interviews over and over again..... 

I need help!

I'm aslo addicted to 5 Seconds of Summer but that is a completely different story!!!!

I refuse to feel bad about listening to them non stop

Book to Movie review for If I stay

*POSSIBLE SPOILERS*

Ok so I recently got a chance to see the new movie adaptation of the book If I Stay by Gayle Forman. Here is what I thought;

I feel like the book was done a great justice. Although the movie did make some minor changes(that feel like anything but minor to the fans of the book) it was still pretty spot on. I feel that the casting was amazing-apart from my own image of Adam basically being a god and no actor ever being able to live up to that expectation- and the music was AH-MAZING! The second I heard Adam (a.k.a Jamie Backley) sing I said "This is him. His voice. Exactly how I heard it in my mind." Everything about the movie made me as happy, sad, angry, frustrated, and confused, as the book did. I honestly cannot stress enough how well this was put together. I don't have many complaints for the adaptation but of course I'm going to say my few anyways. Ok so it bothered me that Mia didn't look like she was that injured-like in the book half her face was peeled off and she was supposed to need plastic surgery but in the movie she really escaped with only a few cuts and bruises (AS CAN BE SEEN). Also her father was not supposed to have been brought in to the hospital along with her, he was supposed to have died upon impact. Also to add on to people being brought to the hospital... TEDDY WAS NOT  SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN BROUGHT TO THE SAME HOSPITAL AS MIA! I got super mad at first when Teddy was at the same hospital but I slowly got over it when Mia got to have that touching moment in his room, although it did dull down the shock when Willow steps out of the elevator to see Mia. I mean year she wouldn't leave him for a LONG time but if he is at the same hospital as Mia then why shouldn't she go visit his sister? I'm just saying that it made more of a "HOLY SHIT" in the book because she left the WHOLE HOSPITAL, and like drove a long time away. The movie just sort of took that away for me I suppose. I also didn't like a few other things but they were so small that I'm pretty sure no one else except me would care about them. Overall I enjoyed the movie and feel that it was an EXCELLENT adaptation. 5 stars from me!

(Can we take a moment though to just give total respect and awe to the bone chilling 'Teddy as a baby, never going to grow up' montage moment? I mean COME ON! That was freaking beautiful and had me sobbing like no other. Also the one with her parents was amazing. ANNNNDDDD the ending?!?!?!?!?! The way the mixed Adam's song with the cello, and the loud crashing/breaking noises... WOW! JUST WOW! Round of applause to whoever came up with that!)

So many books!

Hey guys so I just wanted to share that I am currently trying to read book 8 of the House of Night series- Awakened, book 6 of the Mortal Instruments series-City of Heavenly Fire, book 5 of the Lux series-Oposition (OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE ITS OVER *EXTREME SOBBING*), and then I have started a few new series; the Syrena Legacy (just started book 1- Of Poseidon), and the Waterfire Saga (waiting for book 2). Along with the series I am at the beginning of, and those that are coming to an end, I have also made a LOOOONNNNGGGG list of a bunch of books/series I want to read. They will be included in my next post.

So many complications

Ok so just after I SWORE that I would be back and posting more I had to hit a snag. This snag is that my computer charger started smoking and then caught on fire.... sooo yeah. Basically my computer died then I didn't have a charger. Whatever though, I got a new charger today so yay!

Hey guys! Sorry for my SERIOUSLY lacking presence lately. Things have just been super crazy!

With school going back into session and all of my other activities I have just been completely swamped of the late. Yeah so just to update you on just what exactly I have going on here is a list of all the things I do on a weekly basis-or am about to start doing. 

• Take eleven classes; Drama 4, Newspaper, Intermediate Algebra-Hybrid college course (meaning it counts as an online course as well as an in class course), US history-Hybrid college course, English Comp 1-Hybrid college course, Geometry(online), French 2(online). So yes a grand total of 11 classes.
• Volunteering at an animal shelter on weekends
• Taking headshots-and getting paid for it!- for small time aspiring actors/actresses/models 
• Teaching taekwondo on weekends(starts in a week)
• TAKING class at taekwondo
• Having to be available whenever for frontrunner-the people I use for acting jobs

So that is what all has been taking up my time recently-not to mention I have been babysitting after school everyday for the past two weeks. Also on top of my crazy busy schedule I am getting sick. How I'm spending my day

Hey guys. Ok so today I am taking the first step in my volunteer program, going to open house. Basically I volunteered to help out at this local SPCA and today I go to what could be considered my orientation. After I go to the open house I'm meeting up with an old friend to catch up and we are going to go see that new movie The Hundred Foot Journey, then we are getting Italian Ice. Yeah so I'm super excited to start the volunteer program because I have been super bored lately and this will give me something to do. Oh and yesterday I went to pick up my first pair of glasses which FINALLLLLLY came in. LOL but other than that I don't have much to say. Oh yeah, I don't remember if I have mentioned it yet but I leave on Tuesday to go visit my sisters in KY and I won't be back until the 17th, so I'll most likely only be posting one or twice. Also, I went to Taekwondo on thursday and I found out what I THOUGHT was my breaking technique-the kick or punch we use to break the board- was actually missing a little thing called a 360 and a jump. HAHAhaha..... yeah no. So basically what I thought was this super simple kick that I already knew is now supposed to have an extra spin and a jump added to it..... 'cause you know.... reasons. Anywayssss thats all. Carry on with your day.

Those CAN'T EVEN books

Ok so I literally just finished reading Tempted the sixth book in the House Of Night series and I have to say.... I CAN'T EVEN DEAL RIGHT NOW! 

THE ENDDDDINNNNGGGG! I HAVE TEARS STREAMING DOWN MY FACE AND I JUST LEFT A VERY LOUD VOICEMAIL WITH MY BEST FRIEND OF ME JUST SCREAMING!

I seriously DO NOT UNDERSTAND

My mind is just so jumbled up right now I feel like I'm Humpty Dumpty and someone forgot a couple pieces when they put me back together. I have experienced shock, and sadness, and all of the emotions I am feeling right now with other books but I don't think I have ever felt like someone just shot my best friend in front of me, snapped my dogs neck, and at the same time ripped out my heart. 

The cast duo has out done themselves in invoking emotion in me. I really don't know how to continue reading the other six books. I feel like the series just died even thought it hasn't in the slightest. I think the worse part about all of this is that.... I ALREADY USED UP MY BOOK BUDGET FOR THIS MONTH! SO I HAVE TO WAIT TILL NEXT MONTH-AS IN SEPTEMBER- TO READ THE NEXT BOOK! 

Yeah so I just wanted to touch on how so many books leave people saying the typical "I can't even". I feel like that is really the only thing that can be said sometimes but yet I also think that people say it at inappropriate times..... like I'm sorry but just because you didn't catch on that they were love interests does not mean that it deserves to be awarded the title of can't even.  Anyways, yeah, so I'm done. This has been a post plot twist report from your friendly blogger who really needs to get a life......Lol just kidding 

Update for my book

Hey guys so I just wanted to give a little update about my book and say that last night I hit a huge mile marker.... I REACHED 50000 WORDS! I was happier then Nevil Longbottom in herbology class. I feel like I'm flying high on a hippogriff

Sorry for all the Harry Potter stuff, I've been seriously deprived since my Universal pass has been blacked out and I want to go see the new Diagon Alley. Any wayyyyys yeah so I reached 50000, then I passed 50000-obviously- but my goal was to get around 65000 words because the writer that I talked to said that there are about 250 words per page and if you take 65000 and divide by 250 you get 260-I MISS SCHOOL OK-and I'm aiming to get around 300 pages.  Yeah but basically I'm doing great for length. I haven't even reached what I want to be my climax yet and really haven't even begun the rising action for it. I had something big happen-kind of like a fake climax- but the real climax is at the very end. HAHAHA CLIFF HANGER!

Yeah so I just wanted to let you all know that I hit 50000. Carry on. 

FINALLY

Okay so guess what I am on right this very second.... thats right.... NOT my moms computer, I am on my computer. And if you remember my last post that is awesome because the stupid person I am forgot my password again.... buuuuutttt me just trying out a bunch of random combinations of all the passwords I've ever had in my life it magically logged me in. I'm so happy I feel like I just made Simon Cowell smile...

Try and tell me that that ^^^^ wouldn't make you happy... Yeah. You can't. 

Yeah so I'm good to post anytime I want to now that I have my computer logged in and so that means I'll probably be posting more often. Cool soooo bye 

Sometimes Blogger makes me mad

Ok so today is my 16th birthday and for my birthday my mom got me a new-totally awesome- macbook. So I'm all excited to have my own computer and to be able to have it whenever I need but of course... I go to sign in to my google plus account and once again.... I have forgotten my password.

You can imagine my frustrations with myself seeing as this has already happened before. 

And so with this development I tried to get another recovery e-mail sent to reset my password, only when it asked me my 'security questions' it told me the information DIDN'T MATCH UP. So of course I'm like "OH COME ON..." 

So now until I can figure out a way to get my password back I have to ask my mom to borrow her computer-when she just got me my own- (yeah I'm not gonna seem ungrateful or anything) to use anything on my google account. But you know what 

I give up for tonight. I only have 15 minutes left of my birthday and I am not about to spend it fighting with google to get into my OWN GOOGLE ACCOUNT. 

Well my night is over so I'm just going to go to sleep now. I'll try again tomorrow.v

Going To the Beach

Hey guys so I'm leaving for the beach at 3:30 this afternoon and will be there until early on the 23rd. So even though I will have wifi at my AWESOME hotel I probably won't be posting anything until I get back. But on the bright side when I get back I will have plenty to talk about seeing as the day I get back is my 16th birthday party. If you can call it a party. lol. I'm having some friends over to chill by the pool then when the sun goes down I am having this bonfire and we are roasting s'mores. Yay! Yeah so between party talk and the beach I'll probably have at least three posts. I am expecting to get books from my family/friends-my sister has gone to B&N like twice this week- and therefore I'll have plenty to rant/review. Yeah so have a great weekend guys! My trip to Virginia- Part 2

Ok so next on my trip to Virginia was day four of basketball camp.

We didn't do much that day, other than shopping and we went to see a movie. I decided to go see How to Train Your Dragon 2... vs watching Maleficant again. Nothing against Maleficant... I had already seen it twice and I didn't want to spend another $10. But can I just say how obsessed I am with HTYD? Seriously.... I have posters on my wall...... I cried when you know what happened to you know who.... (NO not Voldemort) I walked out of there completely unable to accept everything like

Then it was day five of basket ball camp, it was also the LAST day of that god awful hour drive into downtown at 8 am every morning. But anyways, we spent the day downtown just chilling. We went ot the state library, we went to a library that had you know.... actual books you can read. We spent a lot of time just at the kids reading playtime thing because Emery LOVED IT! She sang this one song from a book for the rest of the day. That book would be Pete the Cat btw;

Than after our little excursion to the library's we had to pick his royal pain in the butt up from camp. His team won this big tournament and he was all excited. 

Obviously that wasn't his whole team but you get the gist. Anyways after we got him we went for a walk along this canal and it was soooo beautiful! 

And after we finished the canal walk we went to get some pizza at this cool restaurant rite next to some train tracks.... the pizza was bigger than my head....

So after the loooong week of basketball camp we took a day to just sit at home and clean. We packed whatever we could, did some laundry, swept, cleared out the fridge, stuff like that. 

On the last day before we came home we went back to the james river, this time with Pat, and we were there alllll day, we even brought a grill and heated up some food. Also we painted rocks from the river that we had brought home and bleached a few days earlier. 

Then after a long day of cleaning and gathering everything up the next day.... we set off for the airport. (yes we drove up but my aunt was going back so she left her car and we all flew back and she just flew back up and now has her car again) We waved bye to virginia and prepared to go back home to our wonderful florida summer rain and heat. 

So yeah that was my trip to Virginia.
