Book Trailer and Shadow War

Ok so as promised (see? I can keep a promise) I will have a post for my writing/books

First off I want to brag a little about something super cool. I have been talking with HarperCollins and YA Author Lauren Gibaldi and I am going to get to do something very cool for Lauren's new book coming out in June. I will get to play one of the main characters in a trailer for the book. Also, I will be getting to read an advanced copy of the book before it is even released in June.

(For more information on The Night We Said Yes, check out Lauren's website at http://laurengibaldi.com/ , or at http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/23287168-the-night-we-said-yes)

Also, I am really excited about the progress I've been making in my own book, if it was printed now it would be about 240 pages. My goal is to have no less than 300 words but I will be willing to not have that if it means I'm just adding random not needed information. I am at a pretty intense part right now and however I decide to take it will either take me straight in to the end of the climax, falling action, and resolution, or it will bring me to a better climax then what I have right now.

Ok so I know this looks all craptastic but this is a fake cover for my book that I made....

Ok the next thing I want to talk about it that my friend Jaden (hey girl) has this really awesome book idea and she might just be super cool and let me co-write with her for at least portions. The story line is really interesting and she is a great writer so already its going to be amazing. I'll keep everyone updated on this but as of right now that is all I have on that matter.

Alright well, have a good rest of your day guys!!! Hope you like this post!

I KNOW!

I AM SO SORRY! I know I keep coming on and promising more posts but honestly life has just been crazy hectic lately. This post will act as my catch up because I have lots of other topics running around inside my head!

Ok so first off... I'M SORRY!!!!

Next I would like to just slap on that I am about 3/4 through season 5 of my new addiction, Supernatural.

Moving on, one random thing that I would like to share is that over winter break I broke probably my worst habit, that I have had since fifth grade, and that is biting my nails. I know that doesn't sound worthy of sharing on the internet but honestly I am pretty proud of myself. It has taken me a long time to stop, I have always done it when I was scared, nervous, bored, thinking, basically it was used as a form of comfort. Now I found a new way of comforting. Since I have let them grow some I have become addicted to painting them (I cannot believe I am talking about painting my nails rn) I find that when they are painted I'm not tempted to bite, and also I enjoy tapping them.

OKAYYYY, so, I know I don't really talk about my relationship with the directors but its with good reason...... they hate me. Or well... at least the head honcho/lady in charge/queen bitch, hates me. I'm not exactly sure what I did in the past to piss her off but I can guarantee that up until today she has honest to god hated my guts. I say up until today becauseeeee TARZAN AUDITIONS FOR ENSEMBLE WERE TODAY... YAY!!!!

(continued form above) so basically I was drinking honey and water all day whilst sucking on about 15 honey and lemon cough drops, not to mention I was on vocal rest all day, all because I wanted to be positive that my audition went well. Boy did it pay off! After getting comfortable before the actual auditions I was able to actually sing with confidence and not be worried about how I sounded. I sang loud and my voice actually sounded pretty good. I got a ton of really positive feedback from the two theater directors, the technical director, and the chorus directors. I am actually really happy with how the audition went and I'm proud of myself for not playing it safe this time around.

Okay so since this is kind of long I will try and figure out a way to smoosh all my writing news into its own post tomorrow. ITS SATURDAY AT 12:25 AM!! YAY!!!!

I'm Back/New Books/ Christmas Carol

Hey! So I'm back! I am really excited because I took my last valencia final yesterday so now my first semester in college is over and I only have one more week of high school left before Winter Break.

So Lately I have read two books- both first in series. The first book I finished was the Maze Runner. Yes I am aware that I am way late on the Maze Runner train, but you see what happened was last year I started reading Maze Runner and then I lost the book and was like "welp guess it wasn't meant to be", than recently I decided to finish it and checked it out from the library. Well I finished the book and I really liked it so I'm on a waiting list to get the second one, YAY! The OTHERRRRR book I read was "Shattered Souls" By: Mary Lindsey. I have to say, I didn't actually know what the book was about when I checked it out, I ran my hand down the fiction isle and counted to thirty than read whatever book is landed on. Well to say the least I was VERY HAPPILY surprised by this book. I am waiting on the Second book in this series as well as Maze Runner. Anyways I was just really happy with these two books and look forwards to finishing reading their series.

Ok so next I want to talk about the fact that my high school theater class has been working on doing A Christmas Carol! Yay! Ok so before we started the process of rehearsal we watched the muppet movie version-make a note before this I had never seen any version of a christmas carol. After we finished watching the movie the next day we got told who we were all playing, I was extremely lucky to be casted as the Narrator. I love my role because I get to speak directly to the audience be completely omniscient. We are preforming on this upcoming Monday for our principal and then I'm not sure when else. In one scene we have to a dance called the Virginia Reel. (.......) The Virginia Reel is one of the most tiring dances I have ever learned/performed. If you have a chance i urge you to watch this video.
I ask you to imagine this with a total of 32 people instead of some 10 in this video, and also make it about twice as fast, and add an extra 2 minutes.

Any how, I hope everyone has been well lately and I apologize for my being absent. Hopefully now that winter break is coming up I will have more time to post!

Yay for books (Minor Spoilers for TMI, and Lux)

Hey guys so I just recently finished the book suggestion from my friend Andrew (The Red Pyramid).

The book was thoroughly  entertaining and I was surprised to read at the very end that the story was actually based on on true events/ real beliefs. I enjoyed this tale because it really reminded me of the books that I was reading when I fell in love with the lifestyle. The use of actual hieroglyphs, Egyptian Gods/religion, and actual people was interesting because it really opened up the mind to a new world.

So after I finished reading the Red Pyramid, I jumped right into reading the Sixth and final book of the Mortal Instruments series- City of Heavenly Fire- and I'm about half way through. I really like it so far, the introduction with Emma and the attack was really gripping and I actually found myself upset that we didn't get to read more about what happened after the portal. As you know I love TMI and I am obviously sad to see the series come to an end, but alas, all good things must come to an end eventually. I can't wait to read more and honestly I'm over here like

Ok so I just want to point out that I have YET to read the FINAL book in my ALL TIME FAVORITE SERIES-Lux by Jennifer L. Armentrout- 100% because I am not prepared for it to be over.  I am in LOVE with the characters and I am not ready to see them be ripped away from me, never to have another new adventure. I feel such a connection with the main character and she really is like a book version of me-apart from being part alien- and I feel like when I read this last book I'll be losing a part of my self. Overall I'm just stalling, eventual;y I will read Opposition-THAT DAY IS NOT TODAY. For now I will continue to treat the series as I see it, my love. (Ps. One day I will marry Daemon, no matter what people say)

Okay well thats all for now! Have a good rest of your week!

The Wedding!

Hey guys! So I'm not yet back in Orlando from the wedding but I am back in Kissimmee so thats good enough for me. The wedding was absolutely beautiful! Andrew and Sabrina look positively gorgeous, and the ceremony was perfect for their personality's.

So to start off the rehearsal went swimmingly- apart from the actual physical dinner where the food was cold, took forever, bland, and overall just terrible. On a positive note, Rebecca and I looked cute!

After the rehearsal dinner the bridesmaids, the brides friend, cousin(s), and I all had fun at the bachelorette party. To say the least it was awesome. haha

The wedding went almost perfect (which seems almost impossible) and everyone looked so beautiful.

Okay, so I'm gonna start trying to catch up on my homework! Haha Have a good rest of the week guys!

Wedding

Let me be clear as I start this post... I AM NOT GETTING MARRIED! LOL not that you would think I was. None the less I am attending a wedding this weekend. My best friend in the entire world Rebecca (hey girl) has this older brother, so basically I have this older brother, and well he has this AH-MAZING girl and she is beautiful and just awesomely awesome. Yeah well this brother and this girl are engaged! YAY! (Didn't see that coming did you?) Anyways I am so excited because the wedding is this weekend and I get to spend four long days at the beach with my best friend and I also get to attend her brothers GORGEOUS wedding. I leave saturday morning to head to Becca's house then saturday afternoon we leave for the beach. I am not 100% on the schedule after that but at some point in time we will be having the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony (obviously), the reception, and probably going out to eat on one of the other days we are there (seeing as we are there till next tuesday). I am super excited for the wedding cause I get to spend time with my bestie, see two people I love tie the knot, and wear my super cute new dresses (I got three tehehehe). Everyone is going to look so amazing and I am so excited and I just can't stop saying how excited I am!

(anyways I just wanted to let you know what is going on guyssss)

PICTURES TO COME WHEN I GET BACK!

STRESS OVERLOAD/books/writing/tv

Hey guys, I'm really sorry for how crappy I have been at posting lately. I have been under some serious stress and things are finally starting to calm down a bit. My classes have been crazy filled with HW and Sweeney Todd opened up last week. On top of everything with school I have been trying to find time to sleep, eat, and read. So basically I've been waking up, doing homework, going to valencia, going to high school, staying after school for rehearsals, then the play starts at 7, play ends at 10 ish, get home around 10:30, do some more homework, eat, read (MAYBE), sleep, repeat. So say the least I've been pretty much collapsing into bed!

Speaking of reading! I FINALLY GOT CITY OF HEAVENLY FIRE (a.k.a the sixth and final book in the Mortal Instruments series). I found it at the library the other day when I was searching for Destined (book who-knows-anymore in the House of Night series) and BOOM! THERE IT WAS! The sad part is I was already reading another book given to me by my AMAZINGLY AWESOME BEST GUY FRIEND (lol thanks Andrew) and well its cool so I'm gonna finish it and THENNNNNN start of TMI.

^ this is me in a library
Oh yeah and I got a journal for all of my book ideas or just story ideas and I have a really good one. Now now... I'M NOT SAYING ANYTHING YET! lol You will hear about this new idea once I finish the Shadow War. OH YEAH! I have been writing more for the Shadow War and its all being flowing so smoothy so I hope that I will be finished in the not too distant future.

GOODNESS I DIDN'T REALIZE HOW MUCH YOU ALL HAVE MISSED! DID I MENTION THAT LIKE ALMOST ALL OF MY TV SHOWS ARE BACK?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! NO?!? HOW?!? LOL ok well.... THEY'RE ALL BACK.
OkAYYYY so to name a few- in order based on their days of the week- there is;
  • The Walking Dead/ Once Upon a Time (sunday)
  • Are you the one? (monday)
  • Faking it (I think is on wednesday but my recording is scheduled for saturday at like 4 am soo)
  • The Vampire Diaries/REIGN (thursday)
  • Legend of Korra (friday)
  • DOOWEE Doctor Who (saturday)
(I'm basically just sitting here watching my fandoms begin to burn their bright new season flames like)
(please not that the name of that image is named creepy korra smily fire face)

Oh yeah so another thing is that I have the worst luck lately (almost got hit by a car and also fell of a latter.... 3 times) plus I might be getting sick like EVERYONE ELSE IN MY SCHOOL. I also had this weird thing happen the other day where I woke up and couldn't really stand and my legs with covered with bruises (don't know how any of them got there but I mean...3 times) I basically looked like I got ran over by a truck (where was my alien when I needed him).

DARN ANOTHER THING! (I really shouldn't stay away so long!) My mother and I just started watching supernatural and can I just say... YAAAAAS
"hmmm not bad"

Ok so I think I covered basically everything! SORRY FOR THE SUPER LONG POST!
